How does a heat pump water heater work?
A heat pump hot water system doesn't generate heat, it borrows it. It pulls warmth from the air around it and transfers it to your water, using up to three times less electricity than a conventional cylinder.
When paired with solar panels, it functions as a thermal battery, storing free daytime energy as hot water for showers, dishes, and laundry around the clock.
